Does an Outdoor Roller Blind Always Need Stainless Steel Guide Wires? 🤔

Not necessarily!
It really depends on how you use the roller blind.

Some customers tell me:

“Boss, adding guide wires makes the price a little high!” 😅

If your outdoor roller blind is not opened and closed every day, and its main purpose is simply to:

☀️ Block the sunlight
🌧️ Keep out the rain
🌬️ Reduce wind blowing the blind around

Then you can consider a more economical option👇

❌ No guide wires!

Instead, we can add a hook at the bottom to secure the roller blind.

This helps prevent the blind from swinging and moving around in the wind.

When you want to roll it up:

👉 Simply release the hook
👉 Then operate the blind normally.

For customers who might use the outdoor blind only a few times a year… 😂

This solution can actually be very practical!

And don’t think that because we removed the guide wires, we’re cutting corners.

💪 The bottom bar still comes with a Wrapping Bottom Bar, making the bottom section more solid, stable and durable.

So when it comes to outdoor roller blinds:

The most expensive option isn’t always the best option.
The best option is the one that matches your actual usage. 👍

💡 Open & close frequently? → Guide wires are more convenient.

💡 Rarely open & close? → Hook solution is more economical.

Save the money on the guide wires…

and use it to buy yourself a coffee instead! 🤣☕️

 

室外卷帘一定要装钢线？🤔

不一定！看你的使用习惯来决定。

有些顾客说：
「室外卷帘加钢线，价钱有点高哦！😅」

如果你的卷帘 不是天天拉上拉下，
主要用途只是：

☀️ 遮阳
🌧️ 挡雨
🌬️ 减少风吹来吹去

那其实可以考虑一个比较经济的做法👇

不要钢线！
我在下面加一个钩扣，把卷帘扣住，
这样卷帘就不会一直飘来飘去。

需要把卷帘收起来的时候，
👉 把钩扣拆掉
就可以正常上下操作了。

对于那些
一年365天，可能365天都懒得拉它几次的顾客 😂
这个方法真的很实用！

而且别以为省了钢线，
下面就随便做做而已。

卷帘下槽一样给你加上
Wrapping Bottom Bar 💪
让整个下槽更加扎实、耐用。

所以做室外卷帘，
不是贵的就是最好，适合自己的使用方式才是最好！

💡 常常上下 → 钢线比较方便
💡 很少上下 → 钩扣方案更经济

😂 Oops! The Sun Has Moved! ☀️😆

The outdoor bamboo blind we installed for this customer was originally positioned perfectly to block the sunlight.

But now the customer called and said:

🙋🏻‍♂️ “Boss, can you move it a little bit to the right? It’s getting a little sunny!” 😂

It’s not that the bamboo blind moved…

👉 The sun moved! 🌞🤣

So why was it fine before, but suddenly getting more sunlight now? 👇

☀️ 1. The Sun’s Position Changes

The sun doesn’t stay in exactly the same position every day.

As the seasons change, the sun’s height and direction also change.

🌍 2. The Earth Orbits the Sun

Throughout the year, the angle of sunlight changes.

So the same window can receive sunlight from a different direction during different months.

📅 3. The Installation Was Done at a Different Time

When we measured and installed the bamboo blind, the sunlight happened to come from a different angle.

At that time, the blind blocked it perfectly.

After some time, the sun changed position, and the sunlight started sneaking in from the side. 😂

🏠 4. The House Doesn’t Move… But the Sun Does!

So installing an outdoor bamboo blind doesn’t mean the sun will shine from exactly the same angle 365 days a year.

But no worries!

We don’t necessarily need to remove everything and make a new blind.

Sometimes, just shifting the blind slightly can help block the sunlight again. 😎

😂 哎呀！太阳移位了！

老板之前安装的室外木帘，
当时明明刚刚好可以挡到太阳，
现在竟然跟我说：

老板：“可以帮我移右边一点点吗？有点晒！” ☀️😆

不是木帘跑掉了，
是太阳的位置变了！

为什么之前不晒，现在会晒？👇

☀️ 1. 太阳每天走的路线不一样
太阳不是固定在同一个位置晒，随着季节变化，太阳高度和方向都会改变。

🌍 2. 地球公转，季节改变
一年四季太阳照射角度不同，
同一个窗户，在不同月份受到的阳光也会不一样。

📅 3. 之前安装的时间不同
当初量和安装的时候，太阳刚好在另一边，木帘可以挡得刚刚好。
过了一段时间，太阳角度变了，阳光就从旁边“偷溜”进来了。😂

🏠 4. 店不会动，太阳会“换位置”
所以室外木帘安装好了，不代表一年365天太阳都从同一个角度来。

不过没关系！
木帘不用拆掉重做，移一点位置就可以继续帮老板挡太阳。 😎

🌞 DARK ≠ BLACKOUT!

 

Many people think:

 

“If I choose a darker curtain, it should block more light, right?”

 

❌ Not necessarily!

 

If it’s not a blackout fabric,

it’s not a blackout fabric.

 

Even if the colour is very dark,

the light-blocking performance may still be quite average.

 

The real secret behind blackout curtains is not the colour — it’s the fabric construction!

 

Our blackout fabric features a 3-layer construction,

with a black yarn layer in the middle to help block out light.

 

So:

 

☀️ Light-colour blackout fabric

Although the blackout effect is around 70%,

it can still block more light than a dark-coloured regular fabric without blackout function.

 

🌑 Want a darker room?

Go for dark-coloured blackout fabric.

The blackout effect can reach around 90%!

 

So don’t just ask:

 

❌ “Boss, do you have a dark colour?”

 

Instead, ask:

🌞 深色 ≠ 遮光！

很多人以为：
“选深色窗帘，应该就会比较遮光吧？”

❌ 不一定！

不是遮光布，就不是遮光布。
就算颜色做到很深，遮光效果也可能只是一般般。

真正的遮光布，重点不是颜色，而是布料结构！

我们的遮光布是 3层结构，
中间加入黑丝层，靠结构来阻挡光线。

🚚 The “Sea Journey” of a Blind! 😂

Transportation is honestly one of the biggest headaches when it comes to Blinds.

Especially when the Blinds are long, delicate, and easy to get crushed.

When we tell the transport company:

“Boss, don’t worry. We’ll handle it carefully.” 😆

But when it finally reaches the customer…

The Blind has already gone through a whole life adventure! 🤣

So, to reduce the risk of damage,
we would rather spend a little more and give the Blinds their own “armor”! 🛡️

📦 Extra-hard cardboard tube packaging!

Yes, the tube is heavier.
Yes, transportation costs more.

But never mind.

💰 Paying a little more for transportation
is much better than receiving damaged Blinds and having to deal with the problem later.

And this time, the journey is even more challenging!

It’s not just normal West Malaysia delivery…

It’s:

🇲🇾 West Malaysia → Sabah!

After leaving the factory:

➡️ Factory lorry sends the Blinds to the port
➡️ Loaded onto the ship 🚢
➡️ Then they travel across the sea… 🌊
➡️ Arrive at the Sabah port
➡️ Loaded onto another lorry
➡️ Finally delivered to the customer

Along the way,
the Blinds may go through countless hands
and countless loading and unloading processes.

So without proper protection…

Not getting crushed or damaged
would almost be a matter of luck! 😂

That’s why we always believe:

📦 Protecting the goods is more important than saving a little on transportation costs.

Customers ordered Blinds.

What we deliver to them
must still be complete, beautiful and ready to install—

not a piece of “modern art”! 🤣

📦 Better packaging.
💪 More protection.
💰 A little higher cost.
😅 A little more trouble.

But when the customer receives the Blinds safely and perfectly…

It’s all worth it! ❤️

From West Malaysia all the way to Sabah,

🚚 一条 Blinds 的「海上漂流记」😂

运输，真的是做 Blinds 很头疼的问题。

尤其是这种又长、又容易被压坏的 Blinds，
交代运输公司送货的时候，最怕的就是——

「老板放心，我们会小心。」
结果到了顾客手上：
Blinds 已经经历了一场人生历练。🤣

所以为了避免这种事情发生，
我们宁愿多花一点成本，给 Blinds 穿上「盔甲」！

📦 用很硬的纸皮圆桶包装！

虽然圆桶比较重，
运输成本也会增加，
但是没关系。

多花一点运费，
总好过货到了顾客手上才发现被压坏。

尤其这一次更加刺激——
不是普通的西马运输，

而是：

🇲🇾 西马 → 东马沙巴！

Blinds 从工厂出来后：

➡️ 工厂货车送到码头
➡️ 装货上船 🚢
➡️ 在海上飘呀飘……🌊
➡️ 到达沙巴码头
➡️ 再上另一辆货车
➡️ 最后才送到顾客手上

一路下来，
已经经过不知道多少双手、多少次搬运。

你说，
如果没有一个够硬的包装保护，

不被压坏、不被撞坏，真的要靠运气。😂

所以我们坚持：

货品安全，比省一点运输费重要！

客户买的是 Blinds，
我们送到客户手上的，
必须还是完整的 Blinds，
不能变成「艺术品」。🤣

📦 包装多做一点，麻烦多一点，成本高一点，
但顾客收到货时完整、漂亮、安全——
这一切，都值得！

从西马一路漂到沙巴，
Blinds 可以坐船，
但绝对不能「散架」下船！😂
